The building known by the name of Ospitalazzo is testimony to the hospitality that wayfarers and pilgrims could find in the past whilst travelling along the old road to Tuscany, in the stretch between Loiano and Scaricalasino (present-day Monghidoro); now the building is part of an equestrian centre and specialized riding school, also for the disabled.
