Description
Some stone wall facings seemingly attest to the existence of this complex as early as the 13th century, though most of the architectural features surveyed in the 1970s dated from the 14th century onward.
The grouping consists of a series of building units joined together to form a complex volume, with variously organized exterior spaces, also connected by underpasses.
The aspects of greatest interest here include a building featuring a covered porch with two stone columns, one of which topped by a capital with plant motifs; in a covered passage there was a typical shop door with a counter, stone jambs and architrave.
Worthy of note is a 14th-century round-arched entrance with stone blocks fashioned into a pointed arch shape, accompanied with a portal-style window with a stone seat on the inside supported by scroll-shaped brackets.
