Description
Built in 1685, the Church of Madonna dei Boschi is a sanctuary dedicated to an image of the Madonna of San Luca, whose effigy was placed in a small pillar in 1616.
The building is an example of fine architecture, with precious sculptures and decorations, and the interior houses the image of the Madonna of San Luca and two statues depicting Saints Peter and Paul, sculpted in 1785 by the Bolognese artist Antonio Gamberini.
The organ, recently restored, is considered one of the oldest in the mountains of the Bologna province.
