Description:
The date 1774 is engraved in the architrave of the door of this former mill, which was built on a slope and on different levels, with a portico at the front. Still today it has a large tank, which was filled with water from the Rio del Piattello and has supporting walls over three metres thick; at the base of one of the walls there is a wide opening closed off by a gate which enabled the tank to be emptied quickly in case of urgent need.
It ceased operating in 1953.
