Description
Built between the 16th and 19th centuries, the village includes different types of buildings, including one intended for agricultural purposes with an amply sized barn (teggia), a manor house whose oldest part dates from the 19th century, a "serial" type of building with arched doorways and a closed porch (balchio) in the part that was formerly a tavern.
On the front of the manor house there remains a firing slit for defending the entrance with a rounded arch and embrasure.
In the nearby Church of S. Maria, 18th-century records mention two bells cast in 1362 by the well-known foundryman Rolando, who produced many of the bells mentioned in historical sources regarding this area.
