The oven is on the front of building in Terzanello di Sotto, set on the first floor and accessible by means of an outdoor stairway.
Next to the mouth of the oven there is an opening which probably leads to a storeroom for wood.
The oven is sheltered at the front by a considerable overhang of the roof; on the ground floor there is a piggery, consistent with the historical building tradition.
Given the height of the feed trough and of the small entrance door, it may presumed that the floor level inside is higher than the ground level outside.
