Description
Heading south from Monghidoro, take the road on the left and follow it until reaching Ca' dei Marchi; the fountain is on the left, at the main village crossroads.
It is a stone fountain with an attached basin.
The bicarbonate-calcic spring water with a low mineral content can promote diuresis and help to eliminate uric acid.
However, municipal decrees banning its use are sometimes issued due to the presence of substances harmful to health.
At present, an "untested water" warning is posted.
The flow rate varies with the seasons, from 2 to 5 litres per minute.
